Why the dog?
Terry and Johns Answer: 'Kenneth' our greyhound logo was born at the company's conception - He was the only dumb animal in the vicinity we could ram into the Photocopier.
The TRUTH: The greyhound was the name of our first venue sadly now being sold for real estate.
Why Kenneth?
Terry and Johns Answer: Like the Comedy god Kenneth Williams, our logo also has an elongated nose.
The TRUTH: Terry thought it up.
Why Terry The Stand Up?
Terry and Johns Answer: When John and Terry began the company, Terry's egotism had reached dangerous levels, whereas John is lovely. Now however John has caught up and much bickering ensues.
The TRUTH: Terry had a myspace (called Terrythestandup) set up for the first gig so that was where we advertised and the name stuck. NB. John is however trying to get the word Terry made into a verb.
Why Surrey?
Terry and Johns Answer: Due to an explosive necklace ( Running man style ), we are unable to leave the county.
The TRUTH: John lives there and Terry lives there, so it’s close.
