Terry is one of the founding members of Terry The Stand Up Presents... and a stand up in his own right. He had his first gig when he was 16, and since then his act has grown in strength and popularity.

As well as being a stand up, he is also an actor and has worked closely in the past with Alternative Creative Theatre and Theatre Exchange. During his time with the two company's he had the opportunity to work in a T.I.E role, giving him valued skills in running training courses. He also performed in a number of shows including Macbeth, Snow White (A Dark Fairy Tale) and The Canterbury Tales. It was in June 07 that Terry moved in to the world of comedy promotion with his business partner John Soffe. This seemed like the most natural move as Terry had been actively involved in the promotion side of a local music group for a number of years.

When the opportunity presented itself to move in to comedy promotion, an industry much closer to his heart, he jump at the chance. Terry feels like he has found his true vocation in his marketing role with the company, allowing his to use his skills in sales, media and performing in new and exciting ways.
